This song was released in December of 2009 and it has been an absolute favorite of mine ever since. It’s a beautiful song (much like most of Amos Lee’s music) and it fits this time of year so well.

Adrien Reju: CD Release Show at Milkboy Philly (10/13/12)

I just want to mention a few show highlights.

I’m glad Zach Djanikian got to open the show because I really like his music. Although I’m still not too familiar with Djanikian’s music I know whenever I hear it it’s such a wonderful listening experience.

Adrien Reju is an amazing singer-songwriter. Reju chose a great group of musicians to play with. Oh my, hearing “The Lucky Ones” live was an absolutely beautiful moment — PERFECT! Also, the Tom Waits cover that Adrien and Jaron Olevsky did was such a pleasant surprise — INCREDIBLE.

Great show.

I saw Val Emmich at MilkBoy Philly this past Thursday and loved his performance. I’ve been a fan of Emmich’s music for quite some time now and I’m always eager to hear his new material. So, I highly recommend that you give Val Emmich a listen.

I have a nice collection of Illinois’ music. iTunes tells me I have 51 tracks by Illinois. I’m a fan of all their music but whenever I listen to my Illinois playlist I almost always have to start with “Are You Coming With Me?” That’s my jam!
